Dallas vs. Houston

The Summer On-the-road TFN kicks off next Friday beginning in Dallas (Houston in July) and inevitably, as it is with human nature, comparisons are bound to be made over which city is better. Here are some very compelling, unbiased arguments from some of our members. Feel free to comment with your own opinions.

You can bring your lunch and we’ll bring lots of food to share too! Come anytime between your break from 12-2pm and we’ll meet at the tables between the FAC & Union. If it rains or it’s too cold, look for us inside the Texas Union eating areas.

Good Friday Service (Fri 4/2)

Good Friday is a day of remembrance when, we solemnly reflect on the death of our Savior Jesus on a Roman cross to pay the penalty for our sin. It is a sober reminder of what we did to God before our joyous celebration of what God did for us—resurrect from death and conquer Satan, sin, and death—on Easter Sunday.

We are going to have a special viewing of the Passion of the Christ movie before the Good Friday Service starting at 5 pm.

Koinonia College Winter Retreat

This retreat is a special time away from the stress and distractions of life to spend some good time together and carefully consider life, God, and how it all comes together. We guarantee that you’ll have a lot of memories and food for thought. It’s open and relevant to everyone, whether you’re new to Christianity or a Christian seeking to grow more.
