our story

koin was started at UT Austin back in 2008, when a group of college grads decided to move to Austin. They experienced community in their undergrad years and were inspired to create a similar community in Austin, just like what is described in Acts 2 in the Bible.

Today, we continue their vision of building a Christian community of students, alumni, and mentors that loves God, disciples others, and lives out the Great Commission.
