9:00 a.m. – Met at 405 for breakfast, roll call, and divvying up rides.

1:30 p.m. – CAVES! Dark and damp from the rain, the caves are a challenge to get through (warning: not for the claustrophobic), but they’re great for the adventurous-at-heart. We crawled through the darkness, one step at a time, and eventually found our way back into the light.

3:30 p.m. – Said goodbye to Enchanted Rock after many group pictures and headed off to Longhorn Lodge! To make the ride over more fun, each car was challenged to make their own lip sync music video to songs like “You’re Welcome,” “Circle of Life,” “What Does the Fox Say,” “Everything is Awesome,” and “Gotta Catch ‘Em All!”

4:30 p.m. – Introduced the freshmen to Longhorn Lodge, with board games, another nice view of the Lake, and yummy pulled pork burgers for dinner.

7:00 p.m. – Transitioned over to Longhorn Gym—fitted for volleyball, basketball, and now  Archery Tag! Strapped with new, legit-looking gear, we battled each other for multiple rounds. Definitely a keeper!
